Municipal Information
Our Council is made up of volunteers from the community. A schedule of meetings is published on the Community Facebook page and here, on the website. These meetings generally occur on the second Tuesday of the month at 7 PM in the Community Centre. Breadalbane residents are welcome to attend and ask questions or share ideas after the core council work has been completed. There is an annual rate payers meeting, held in February, to review the proposed upcoming budget for the next fiscal year.
We have a variety of committees who get things done and anyone interested in helping are encouraged to join one or more! There are several committees but the core ones are an Events Committee, an Emergency Measures Committee and a Capital Projects Committee. Reach out to the CAO or to the Mayor and let them know you are interested in participating!
